I set up an account on my site's control panel. Set the account settings in Thunderbird for the incoming as mail.
domain.org. It all seemed pretty straightforward. I sent a couple of test e-mails and both were returned with unresolved errors "didn't like the domain"
and everytime I tried to check the mailbox it would:
- "connected to mail.domain.org
- AVG scans a DNS entry
- Error: "POP3 Error. mail.domain.org responded:"
It is probably something simple and a rookie mistake, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any problem with loading your web page in addition to this problem? If so, such an across-the-board issue would most likely stem from a domain name resolution problem (the domain name is not resolving). I would check to ensure that the nameserver settings assigned to your domain name match the ones HostNed provided for you in your Welcome email link (I believe it is http://www.hostned.com/setup/ ). Look into that and let me know. If that is not he problem, let me know your domain name so I can do some lookups on it and sluth the source of the trouble for you.
The web page works fine. Infact I have been able to modify pages without incident.
the domain is northtexascreationresources.org.
Check the nameservers for the domain name. Make sure they are set correctly. Also make sure the DNS zone is set up correctly. The DNS zone can be found in your server control panel.
