Changing name of website
« on: December 01, 2009, 03:33:02 PM »
I currently have a website hosted by Hostned.  I may want to change the name.  After buying th enew domain name, is there any way to simply change the name with you without having to move all of the files from the old domain name?  I'm all for eliminating extra steps.

Some hosting accounts do allow this.  What kind of account specifically do you have?  (Windows or Linux, Plesk or Cpanel)?

If you open a support ticket for that, tech support can perform that action for you.
